Human identities, technology and a city in shadow.
Human identities, technology and a city in shadow.
Code Vendetta is a sci-fi visual development project connecting character design, costume, equipment and an urban setting. The image of Nemesis above the city introduces the cinematic tone; cast sheets explore identity, proportions and details.
Art direction
Black, gray and technical materials build Nemesis’s silhouette. Cyan lighting connects the mask, technology and night scene, while clothes, faces and posture distinguish Alex Mercer, the FBI agent, Elias Warren and Sam.
The process
Front, side and back views, alongside close-up details, help test the consistency of the design. The sheets separate character identity, costume and equipment components; the key visual brings these decisions into a scene.
Urban setting & key visual
The aerial view of the Neurobotics headquarters establishes the scale of the urban setting. Skyscrapers, streets and crowds converge around the building, while its green sign creates a visual focal point. The key visual of Nemesis on the flying vehicle complements this environment, connecting architecture, technology and cinematic atmosphere.
Nemesis — costume & equipment
The design is explored through silhouette, hood, mask, armor and accessories. The Nemesis sheet compares several viewpoints; the study labeled Black Sentinel explores an armor variant and individual equipment elements. Together, the boards connect the full figure with technical detail.
Cast — character design & identity
Alex Mercer, the FBI agent, Elias Warren and Sam are presented through turnarounds, portraits and facial details. Clothing, hairstyle, apparent age and posture distinguish each figure. The sheets connect face, silhouette and costume to provide references for continuity between shots.
